The Hobbit Challenge (Hot for New Years)

I will admit, this weeks challenge is a little strange in terms of the name but i promise you guys will love it! Now i'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan and so obviously I'm extremely excited for the The Hobbit:The Desolation of Smaug coming out this coming weekend.

The Hobbit Challenge:

Have you ever noticed how long they have to walk for in their adventures whether it be The Hobbit adventures or The Lord of the Rings adventures?! They're walking for hours a day! (with a bit of running for their lives here and there) 

So, as you might have already guessed, this weeks challenge is to WALK AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! Take the long way round anywhere you go. 
On your way home? take a detour and walk the longest route possible. 
Going to the gym? if you can, walk there!
Picking up a few groceries? walk walk walk. 
Bored at home? Go for a walk! maybe ask friends or family to come along with you. 

Its all about staying active as much as possible, for as long as possible. Soon, little things like walking here and there will add up. Of course, please stay safe! don't go off walking a different route late night without letting anyone know where you are. 

After this week, if Gandalf comes knocking on your door to take you on an adventure, you'll be fit and ready!
