Baked Apples | Healthy Holiday Treats

Christmas is over but it's still the holiday season! That being said, we can't go on eating as we have been so i've got a lovely recipe that is both healthy and indulgent. 


Ingredients:

Apples (you can use baking apples or regular apples)
Granola 
Raisins 
Soft brown sugar
Cinnamon 
Olive spread
Honey

How to:
1. Start off by coring the apple
2. Mix the sugar, cinnamon and raisins together
3. Put the mixture in the core of the apples
4. Take a teaspoon of Olive spread and place it on top on the mixture
5. Bake the apples for 15 to 20 minutes at 200°C
6. Place the apples on a serving board
7. Pour honey on top of the apples
8. Sprinkle the granola on top and you're done!


Whilst this isn't THE healthiest recipe, it's a whole lot better than chomping down on some chocolate cake!
