Delicious protein balls - great for on the go! |
CHOCOLATE & PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN BALLS
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 1/2 cup of oats
- 1/2 scoop of chocolate whey protein powder ( I used optimum nutrition hydro-whey)
- 2 tbsp of pb2 (powdered peanut butter that you can purchase from iherb.com) otherwise use normal peanut butter
- 2 tsp of almond milk
- 1 tbsp of cacoa powder ( or cocoa powder if you don't have the raw powder)
Optional - shredded coconut or sprinkles
Directions
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, until it becomes creamy and thick. Ensure that the mixture is not too runny, otherwise it will not stick together. When happy with the consistency, roll the mixture into 8 equal balls. Then roll in sprinkles, shredded coconut, slithered almonds - whatever you'd like! Refrigerate for a few hours until set and then ENJOY!
